At L’Atelier, these custom-made pieces are designed and built in oak, beech or cherry, tailored to the size of your screen, your hi-fi and video equipment, and the style of your room. Bookcase with a sliding TV compartment
The bookcase was designed to the exact dimensions of the television. The screen rests on a sliding shelf: it tucks away when not in use and slides out for viewing. The brass knobs add a refined, durable finish. This type of furniture lets you keep a full bookcase, with its books and objects, without a black screen dominating the room.
Media unit
This Louis XV-inspired media unit has a curved, bombé front in solid ash, finished in a deep burgundy, with a varnished oak top and a moulded, shaped edge. It has five drawers fitted with ornate bronze handles, and an open central niche sized for a set-top box, console or other devices, keeping the equipment within reach and tidy. The scalloped apron and cabriole legs complete the traditional lines, and the unit holds a flat-screen TV on top.
Built-in TV unit
To save space in a living room, the television is built into a solid beech bookcase. The screen is mounted on a swivel mount, so it can be turned toward the sofa, the dining area or the kitchen depending on how the room is being used. This solution frees up floor space and removes the bulk of a traditional TV stand, while keeping cables and equipment neatly out of sight. It is particularly well suited to small rooms and open-plan living spaces.

Marquetry media unit: contemporary bookcase
In this creation, the television sits at the heart of a marquetry bookcase, for a more discreet look. Eight doors, four of them glazed, are decorated with floral motifs and birds native to the region, made from veneers of different wood species.
