Custom Fitted Furniture

Designing fitted furniture that adapts to your home, not the other way around. Attics, narrow entryways, radiators: every constraint becomes a purpose-built piece. Where standard furniture leaves wasted space, bespoke furniture makes use of every centimeter.

Our pieces are designed and handcrafted to fit your interior, not the other way around. Attics, narrow entryways, nooks, radiators, sloped ceilings: every constraint becomes a purpose-built piece. Where standard furniture leaves wasted space, bespoke furniture makes use of every centimeter.

Fitted Entryways

A narrow entryway can hold a surprising amount of storage. For this type of space, we designed a four-drawer unit with removable shelves. It adapts to different uses: shoes, gloves, mail, accessories. The shelves can be adjusted as needed, and the shallow depth keeps the passage clear.

Optimized entryway

A bright, optimized entryway with several drawers, a mirror and a large wardrobe. Geometric decorative elements add a sense of lightness to the whole. The large wardrobe is topped with an upper unit, providing generous storage capacity overall.

Carved Fireplace Mantel

A carved grapevine motif was chosen for this fireplace surround, which frames a range cooker. The tiles used also help tie the whole together.

Picardy-Style Fireplace Mantel

An ash surround gives character to this Picardy-style fireplace. The carvings depict ears of wheat, sunflowers and grapevine branches.

Attic Fittings: Making the Most of Every Centimeter Under the Slope

Attics are the hardest rooms to furnish. The height varies, the walls are slanted, and store-bought furniture leaves unusable gaps. Custom-made furniture lets you place the wardrobe at the highest point and put low storage, a desk or a chest of drawers under the slope.

The solid oak attic wardrobe is one example. It has two doors with molded, arched panels, a wide drawer at the bottom and a molded cornice. It is fitted to the roof slope to the millimeter, with exposed hinges and wrought-iron keyhole escutcheons. Its natural finish highlights the grain of the oak and matches the parquet floor

Radiator Cover

An exposed radiator often disrupts the harmony of a room. The wooden radiator cover conceals it while still letting heat circulate: the grilles or openwork panels are sized so as not to hinder heat diffusion. Its top surface works as a console for decorative objects or a plant. It is made to the exact dimensions of the radiator and in the same wood as the other furniture in the room.
