Solid wood wardrobes made right in our workshop, in the tradition of French cabinetmaking. Each wardrobe is designed, carved and assembled by hand, in keeping with classic styles: Louis-Philippe, Louis XVI or the Picardy wardrobe. This large 4-door wardrobe in solid cherry wood is inspired by the Louis-Philippe style. It includes a hanging rail and interior shelves for complete, long-lasting storage.

Picardy Wardrobe in Solid Oak with Carved Roses

This Picardy wardrobe in solid oak features a hanging rail and several shelves. Its doors are decorated with hand-carved roses, a hallmark of the Picardy style, and its top cornice is shaped like a "gendarme's hat" (chapeau de gendarme). It is shown here in a light oak stained finish.

the shelves are adjustable to the desired height,
the whole of the hardware, comprising the lock, the keys, the hinges, and the drawer button, is made from brass.

 

 

Carved Louis XVI-Style Wardrobe with Brass Fittings

This Louis XVI-style piece is adorned with several carvings. The lower rail features a cassolette framed by laurel leaves. The fittings, including the round sabots at the feet, are made of brass.
